DIGITIZATION

The digitization track helps get businesses online. It guides self-employed participants on how to maximize the benefits which getting a business online offers. The track is targeted towards self employed women who can use the internet and devices, and own small businesses and enterprises which are not currently online. Getting these businesses online will help them reach a wider audience, improve their processes and increase flexibility, which will result in more resilient and sustainable businesses.

JOB MATCHING

Sheworks seeks to build a bridge between organizations and the right talent through the job matching track, given the high rate of unemployment in Africa which has been aggravated by the recent pandemic. This track will connect candidates, who have the requisite skills, with jobs in their desired industry and support them through CV clinics, career mapping, etc to improve their chances of landing their dream jobs. The Job matching track targets jobseekers, aged 18 & above, seeking low to highly skilled jobs.

UPSKILLING

The upskilling track points candidates to relevant certifications and apprenticeships which will help them develop the right skills to thrive in their chosen career or business. The knowledge and skills gap in Africa is a huge challenge for employers and candidates alike. Applicants who wish to learn new skills to grow in their current roles, get new jobs or transition into new industries often find it a huge challenge finding the right courses/learning pathways. This track helps participants get certified in new skills to improve career prospects or start a business/trade by attending a course or securing a paid apprenticeship. It targets highly motivated participants aged 18 and above with basic literacy skills, looking to improve their skills for low to highly skilled work or businesses.
